UK Civil society statement on emergency financing

The global financial and economic system is in crisis.   There can be no return to business as usual.  Fundamental transformative change is needed in the economic and financial system. Support for emergency finance to mitigate the impacts of the financial crisis should in no way be interpreted as support for the current economic and financial system. However, emergency finance is needed. This paper sets out some principles about how that emergency finance should be delivered.
